History of the Club
The Club was formed in the early 1960s at the instigation of Mrs Lou Wilson-Jones (Diant) together with a group of local Labrador enthusiasts. One of these, Peggy Rae continued to be actively involved in the running of the Club until she passed away in 2010.
The Club held its first Open Show in 1964 and its first Championship Show in 1969.
