Conditions of Entry

Novice Stakes:

Confined to dogs which have not gained a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Award in a 24 Dog Open Stake, a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Award in a 12 Dog Open Stake: or a 1st in an all aged or novice stake.

All Ages:

Restricted to dogs with a Field Trial Award including a CoM.

Open:

Dogs which have gained an award above. Preference in the draw being:

    a)    Members dogs with an appropriate award

    b)    Non Members dogs with an appropriate award

    c)    Members dogs gaining other awards

    d)    Non Members dogs gaining other awards

    e)    Other dogs

The Draw:

To take place at Meadow Cottage, Station Road, Barnham, Thetford, IP24 2PE  at 10am on the Sunday following the closure date.

Directions and Details of Meet will be sent with the result of the draw

Please send a self seal SAE for results of draw

Entry Fees:    Open;                 Members £35.00    Non-Members £70.00

                       A/A & Novice;    Members £25.00    Non-Members £50.00

Entry forms will be sent to the successful applicants and the first 24 Reserves.  A run will be conditional on an entry form being returned.  Incomplete or illegible entry forms will be returned with the risk of losing the run.

Prize Money:    Open;                        1st    £35.00    2nd    £20.00    3rd    £10.00    4th    £5.00

                          A/A & Novice;           1st    £25.00    2nd    £10.00    3rd    £5.00

General Conditions

Preference in the Novice draws will be given to those not previously offered a run in a Novice Stake that season. Substitutions will be allowed provided conditions apply. 

The entry fee will be forfeit for a withdrawal within 48 hours of a stake except where a dog achieves a qualification.

No bitches in season allowed on the trial ground.

All handlers make their own arrangements for lunch.

The organisers and hosts except no responsibility for loss or damage to persons or property however occasioned.

Should circumstances so dictate the club in consultation with the judges may alter arrangements as necessary.  Such changes and the circumstances surrounding them will be reported to the Kennel Club at the earliest opportunity.

No modification will be made to this schedule except by permission of the Kennel Club followed by an advertisement in the appropriate journals where time permits before entries close.
