We started the day with a visit to our favourite english breeder, thanks for the “Bacon Sandwiches and mugs of tea , they were delicious Lou!.’

The East Anglian Labrador Championship Show took place at the Wood Green Animal Shelter in Godmanchester near Huntingdon. There were
359 entries. The show was very well organised, the atmosphere was definatley  more relaxed as Crufts.
We arrived just in time to see the Puppy Class line up.
It was pleasing to see that the International Competitors held up their own with some very nice dogs.

Family Browns “Ramsayville Route Sixty Six” won the Limit Dog Class.

Brian Parrott had his second win of the weekend with Lougin Loomis in the Graduate Class.
Franco Barberi with Loch Mor Dick Tracy was placed second in the Graduate and Post Graduate Class.

Mrs. Rooths “Greenworth Tony Mccoy” 11 Month old dog won Puppy Dog Class. He went on be Best Dog and Best Puppy, res. BIS, res. CC
Mrs. Williams, showed no hesitation in stand him right up in front.
Mrs Satterthwaite and Mrs Willians couldn`t come to an agreement over the Best in Show- Mrs Janet Cole as referee had the last say ! She chose the winning bitch,Thurbajens Super Susie .
